Here is a glimpse of some of the happenings on pet day. There was a fantastic turnout of cats, dogs and horses. All the animals looked healthy and well cared for. What a lot of responsible pet owners!
Part of a traditional pet day was to create sand-saucers using plants and props brought from home.
The last photo shows a lamb snoozing contentedly after an exhausting morning of running races and milk drinking races. A good day had by all.

I really enjoyed pet day and my little brother did too. Andew.
When I was at school pet day was never as exciting as it seems to have been at Otatara. I would like to know why some of the pet lambs (especially number 5) have been coloured. Great to see all the photos, thanks Mrs Hood.
Room 7 is a Year 3 class. The children bring to the classroom a huge range of talents and interests.
You are welcome to view some of our classroom happenings and follow through the stages of our Inquiry Learning.
